Good News For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4 We believe the Church is God’s chosen instrument for reaching a lost and dying world with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. We do that through regular church services, outreach ministries in our community, and by supporting and praying for world missions.
Good Doctrine For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law. Proverbs 4:2 We believe that the Church is to believe, preach, teach, and live the Word of God. We hold church services, promote systematic Bible Study, and encourage Godly living.
Good Friends But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, 1 John 1:7 We promote Christian fellowship and friendship in the family of God: We encourage prayer one for another: We promote fellowship in purpose and ministry as we seek to edify one another, and reach our community with the truth of God’s Word.
Good Works Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Titus 2:14 All of our good works are focused on seeing that God is glorified. We believe the greatest good we can do is to reach people with the saving message of God’s grace. We seek through our ministries to see the lost come to know Jesus Christ; and the saved grow in grace and truth.
For Our Great God Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. Psalm 48:1 In all we do we seek to be obedient to God the Father: we seek to lift up and honor Jesus Christ, the Son of God; and we seek to be led by the Holy Spirit of God.

Billy Graham said, “There is no more urgent and critical question in life than that of your personal relationship with God and your eternal salvation.”
Coldness-Call it ignorance! Call it arrogance! Whether you have never heard, or you just don’t care, there is something you need to know. Romans 5:12 says, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." What does that mean? • There is a God. He created all things. He created you. • We are accountable to Him and will all answer to Him one day. • He is Holy, Righteous and Just. • God gave us a Law to live by. It is Holy, Righteous and Just. • When we violate God’s law, we have sinned. Sin kills. Sin sends men to hell.
Concern-Perhaps you have started to wonder about the great questions of Life. Where did I come from? Why am I here? Where will I be when I die? Maybe you have started to wonder why you feel so far away from God. Maybe you have considered God’s law, and understand that you have broken it. How can you make it right? Romans 3:20 says, “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” The law was never given to save us or draw us close to God. The law simply teaches us how far we have fallen from God. “Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” M.R. DeHaan said, “Before a person can be saved, he must first learn that he cannot save himself."
Conviction-You may start to think, “I’m not that bad! I do my best to live by the golden rule and I never killed anybody!” In James 2:10, the Bible says, “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” God’s law stands as a unit. If you are guilty of violating one point of God’s law, you are guilty of breaking the whole thing. Romans 3:19 says, “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.” Conviction is when you come to the place that you understand you are guilty. You have broken God’s Law. The penalty is death and eternity in hell. The penalty must be paid.
Contrition-Contrition is made up of two elements. • The first element is SORROW. When you recognize that you are guilty; that you have broken God’s Law, you should sorrow over having offended your Creator. • The second element of contrition is REPENTANCE. The Bible says, “For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation...” Godly sorrow causes us to desire to change, to turn in the other direction. Repentance is a turning away from that sin that has separated us from God. • Jesus said, “...except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” If you are not willing to turn from your sin, you are not ready to be saved.
Confidence-Confidence is “A Trust, a Firm belief.” Acts 16:31 says, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved,” You cannot be saved, you cannot get to heaven if you do not believe in Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 says, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” What must you believe? • Jesus is God, our Creator, revealed in human flesh. • He loved us so much that He died; was buried and went to hell; and He rose from the grave for us. • If you will repent and put your faith in Jesus Christ, He will cleanse your sin, and give you eternal life. “...the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” Calvin said, “Since no man is excluded from calling upon God the gate of salvation is set open to all. There is nothing else to hinder us from entering but our own unbelief.” • Which step are you on...cold…concerned…Convicted…Contrite? Are you ready to put your faith in Jesus Christ?
